I really cannot say enough about Chiara! A wonderful personality and a great producer, Chiara has a very special place in our house and in our breeding program.

Chiara is a small girl with a wonderful substance and balance. She has a beautiful long neck, solid topline and an excellent functional rear. Chiara is a true moving machine, and it is impossible to tire her out. She trots comfortably for hours when playing with other dogs, even in a very hot weather. Her best part is her head that I regard as one of the most correct and impressive Boxer heads I have ever seen. Very clean and free of any excessive wrinkle, with a perfect balance between the skull and the muzzle, proper tip-up of nose, great mask pigment, beautiful chin and correct lip-to-lip, Chiara's head epitomizes the Standard to its umpteenth degree. Perhaps the most striking feature is Chiara's gorgeous expression that she inherited from her father and that is synonymous with the line of the great Olimpio del Colle dell'Infinito. Her perfectly set and sized very dark eyes are the first thing anyone notices upon meeting Chiara. She cocks her head to the side in the cutest way when she asks for something - a habit inherited from her sire - and I am yet to meet a person who would not fall in love with Chiara's way of gently getting what she wants. Her expression can be characterized as noble, alert, energetic, open and sweet, and I must say it matches her personality perfectly.

Chiara is a very energetic Boxer with lots of prey drive, she loves playing with her toys and likes being involved in everything that happens around. She is extremely playful and turns into a complete puppy when you play with her. She is quite people oriented, greets everyone with kisses and is a great cuddler. Chiara has not had a lot of training as she was a kennel dog in her previous life before she came to us, but she is excellent in the house today and loves sleeping on our bed at night when she gets her turn. She is a very healthy and robust dog and has had not a single serious problem in her life. Chiara is quite dominant, but has excellent dog-to-dog manners and can solve conflicts before they become an issue or a fight, a quality she took from her father and that she generously gives to almost all of her puppies.

As a brood bitch Chiara is a dream come true. I have not met a Boxer breeder that would not be thrilled to have this girl given half a chance. Chiara whelps large litters easily and with minimal assistance. She is a truly great mother. One of the most amazing things about Chiara as a producer is that she stays in superb health throughout pregnancy and lactation and bounces back to show condition within three months after giving birth. She is a fundamentally healthy Boxer that never skips a meal, can exercise and run literally from the morning to the night and has a great reproductive ability. Chiara has given us four large defect-free litters of well above average quality puppies. She has laid a new foundation for our breeding program, and she did that with such an ease. I feel truly blessed for having had a chance to own a dog like Chiara, a beautiful girl and a true Boxer all the way to the core.

Here is a short version of the story about how Chiara came to live at Eurozone. In September 2002 I was invited to judge a Boxer Club show in Hungary. It was my first visit to Hungary, and I was delighted to find some great quality Boxers in the ring. In the entry of 60+ Boxers I picked my winners, and was told after the show that my Best of Breed dog was the sire of my Best bitch, and the dog I picked as the Best Junior was her son! These dogs were Wings Santos, Koloni Chiara and Koloni Hero. Later I visited the Koloni kennel ran by a nice man whose prime occupation is a catholic priest and attempted to buy Chiara who was three years old at that time. All my offers were rejected and I was told Chiara was her breeder's favorite. Early in 2003 I moved to Hungary and the following summer was contacted by the priest who offered us Chiara as he decided to stop breeding. Needless to say we jumped at the opportunity and purchased her immediately. This turned out to be one of the best decisions Zoltán and I have made in our breeding program.
