This
strikingly beautiful Spanish Boxer has
a pedigree so unique that even his home
country cannot brag about having any
more than a couple of dogs whose pedigrees
come close to his. Arkan is linebred
onto The Boxer Extraordinare Tenor
de Loermo via four great brothers
and sisters from X-litter de Loermo
(Xanto,
Xitto,
Xandi,
Xantia).
Most tail lines in Arkan's pedigree
go back to the old Worikben breeding
that used to be considered a separate
style in its own right, and that is
aside of Tenor who himself is good 3/4
Worikben breeding. Worikben line is
not being maintained seriously today
by any kennel - what happens is that
it gets eaten by other lines, those
more recent and/or more heavily promoted
ones. It would not be an exaggeration
to say that the Worikben line, as it
was once known, is nearly extinct. We
had been unsuccessfully searching for
the unstained remains of this line for
quite a while, and it was nothing short
of a miracle and a truly emotional experience
for us to find Arkan.
As we see this, Arkan is one of the
very last true representatives of Worikben's
great glory of the 1970s and 1980s,
and we would like nothing more but to
show this dog to people. Breeders and
judges, newbies and old-timers, you
must see this dog! You must see him
to enjoy his strikingly perfect Boxer
outline. You must see him to believe
that any construction you had previously
considered impressive wilts in shame
in front of such perfection. Once you
see this Boxer move, you will realize
how much the breed looses when we fail
to preserve the unique qualities of
some great old lines by chasing the
extremities like extra refinement, overdone
head, grand size, or what have you.
How many Arkans have you lost over the
years, dear old-timers?.. You, who had
it all in their hands, how could you
ever let it go?
Having seen thousands of Boxers in some
twenty five plus countries, none of
these come near Arkan in the conformation
department. I believe Arkan's construction
and balance are as close to perfection
as they can possibly get. His outstanding
nobility, the harmony of his size, bone
and muscle, the tightness and the proud
posture attract the eye immediately.
Upon looking into fine details, none
disappoints, starting from his perfectly
set and carried well arched neck down
a wonderful topline to his merry tail,
excellent chest formation and extension
of ribs, picture-perfect front and one
of the best rears you will ever see.
Hard well developed musculation and
thin tight skin complete the picture.
This dog does not need to be baited,
pushed, molded, strung up or hung on
a lead in order to look good. He does
not need to pull away madly nor stretch
out to put up an impressive picture.
This dog just cannot stand wrong, and
his beautiful Standard-perfect posture
comes as naturally as walking or breathing.
Temperament-wise, Arkan is a very alert
and confident dog who has retained many
puppy characteristics such as extreme
playfulness. He has not had a lot of
training, but he is fairly easy to manage.
Sensitive, but strong personality of
this dog is very appealing.
Arkan's first litter was born to Koloni
Chiara in our house. It was a large
defect-free litter that contained several
excellent quality puppies who inherited
the nobility and balance of their sire
and a beautiful expressive head of their
dam. We are most excited to watch these
puppies grow, and have been thinking
about repeating the combination later
this year.
Arkan is going to be staying on holidays
at Eurozone Boxer kennel in Hungary
during spring 2006.

of a dog.
Attention! This is not a breeding tour,
and Arkan is not being offered at public
stud.
Update June 2006: Arkan will be coming
back to Eurozone Boxer kennel in the
near future.
Update December 2007: The T and U litters
v.Eurozone remain the only two litters
ever sired by Arkan. We do hope more
breeders will pay attention to this
outstanding Boxer and use him at stud.
